Pass the line through the line tie on the lure and then loop the free end of the line over the index finger of your less dominant hand and allow the lure to hang down about six inches. Hold approximately 8 inches of free line in your dominant hand.

Take the free line from your dominant hand and wrap it seven times around the doubled line that is suspending the lure. Start the seven wraps at the top and wrap towards the bottom.

Take the free end of line and place it through the loop created at the top of your seven previous wraps (just below the fingers in your non-dominant hand).

Slowly cinch the knot tight. You will hear or feel a clicking sound when the knot locks in place.
